ABOUT THE SHOW

The major international poultry experts will lead a qualified debate on technological innovations, veterinary issues and market trends. Main topics will be: efficiency, animal health, biosafety and the fight against antimicrobial resistance. Last year’s edition the focus was on Mycoplasma Synoviae and the related problems. Particular attention was devoted to disease prevention thanks to the contribution of Wil Landman (GD Deventer – the Netherlands), Salvatore Catania (IZS delle Venezie – Padova) and Peter Cargill (expert of the sector).

Optimization and interdependence of management factors are essential for farm profitability. The International Poultry Forum is the ideal place to analyse all the factors underlying the success of the Italian poultry sector: 100% Italian integrated chain, good, affordable, safe and monitored products, investments in bio-safety, animal health and sustainability (as Nomisma pointed out in a recent study).

SPECIAL AREAS

The International Poultry Forum takes place within Cremona International Livestock Exhibitions, one of the most influential events of the agro-livestock world. Cremona is the meeting point of Italian and international professionals of five different sectors (dairy cattle, pig breeding, milk processing, agroenergies and poultry) who create fruitful synergies and new business opportunities.

In-depth analyses dedicated to every sector are organized within the Special Areas MILK VILLAGE, BIO VILLAGE, TECHNO VILLAGE and BIOENERGY VILLAGE. These are often connected to the poultry sector, whose production chain has a relevant economic weight.
